How Might You DEVELOP Your Assets/Skills?

Have you ever wondered why some others, who you consider, less - skilled, and lacking many of the talents and attributes, you possess, sometimes, seem to succeed, when you have less than stellar results? It might be, your self - perceptions, are overly optimistic and positive, or, while you have many quality skills, etc, you have not sufficiently developed them, to your best interest! Wouldn't it, therefore, make sense, to proceed forward, in an introspective, objective manner, and do, everything possible, to positively, DEVELOP your personal skills and/ or assets, in order to, become the best, you might be? With that in mind, this article will attempt to briefly examine, review, and discuss, using the mnemonic approach, what this means, and how it might be helpful, and personally, gratifying.
1. Delve deeply; discover: Many of us, make the same mistake, of assuming, we know what we do best, as well as our personal strengths and weaknesses. However, it is wise, to take the time, and make the effort, to delve deeply, in as introspective and objective manner, as possible, to identify these, in a realistic manner. What might you commit to, in order to discover, what you need to do, to seek self - improvement?
2. Excellence: Are you willing to go beyond, the norm, and avoid taking the often - easier path, of settling for good - enough? Your personal greatness, will only present itself, when you consistently, commit to the highest degree of personal excellence!
3. Vision; view: Have you ever considered your personal, vital, vibrant vision? Are you certain, it is yours, and you are not, simply, adopting that, of others? Would you like you, if objectivity, was your perspective and commitment? How do you view yourself, and does that drive you forward, by providing you with a greater degree of self - confidence, or is it a detriment?
4. Emphasis; evolve; empathy: Do you possess genuine empathy, which helps you better understand, the needs, goals, and perceptions of others? Why have you opted for a particular emphasis? Are you ready, willing and able, to evolve, consistently, to become a better person?
5. Listen; learn: While many people take courses, go to school, or participate in certain training, you'll only maximize the benefit, if you consistently, learn from every conversation, and experience. Transforming listening effectively, to improved judgment, and hopefully, wisdom, should be your objective!
6. Options; opportunities; opinions: Will you be one of the few, who proceeds forward, consistently, and examines multiple options, in a way, which positions you, to recognize and take advantage of the finest opportunities? How will you evaluate, whether your opinion, is based on logic, or merely, rhetoric?
7. Priorities: philosophy; perception; planning: It's important to realize, one's perceptions, often, impact their priorities! Will your developed, philosophy, be helpful, to you, by permitting you, to commit to the best, possible, relevant planning?
It's often not about your skills, and assets, but, rather, how you use and DEVELOP them, in a personally, beneficial way! Will you seek, to become, the best you can be?
