"Believe Again"

As humans we are tested in life about whom and what you believe at many points in life. If you say you believe in nothing that is a test in which you gave an answer. If you are a practicing Christians your faith is tested often. You won't get to choose the test or length of testing. However, you can determine how you respond when tested. You make choices every day. Choosing to have faith is one of the most important decisions you make.

I want to encourage those who have been facing difficult challenges for an extended period of time. I want to especially encourage those of you who have experienced unusual pain, loss and suffering. Hold on to your faith in God. Don't throw in the towel! Even If you are barely holding on, continue to hold on.

Tests are rarely easy. If they were they probably wouldn't be called tests. You must endure in order to overcome. Don't forget with your problems come solutions. Once the veil is removed you might come to realize your answer was available all along. Stress has a way of causing us to lose sight of the obvious. I want to remind you to continue to trust that God is who the Bible says He is. I want you to know that his help is enough for you. The promises of God are enough. The love of God is enough. The power of God is enough to carry you through and bring you out of your storm on top. Don't attempt to rescue yourself by choosing your own way. God is enough!

If you have felt held back or as though things are getting worse, take courage. This storm will pass over as every storm does. It might be the worst storm you have faced thus far in your life, but it will cease! Sometimes you might struggle between giving up altogether and trying harder. It's at these times that you must stop striving and remember God is able to do what you can't do for yourself. Trust God, believe God, and rest in his loving care. I know it's not easy, but it is possible. Don't be anxious and fearful. Let go of those harmful emotions in God's presence through prayer, praise and worship.

If you've waited in prayer and it seems you've received no answer don't stop trusting that God is moving on your behalf. Don't put a time constraint on God's answer for your issue. Even though you don't feel anything, continue in faith. All Christians are commanded to walk by faith and not by sight.

2 Corinthians 5:7 (NLT)

7. For we live by believing and not seeing.

It wouldn't be considered a test of faith if you aren't tempted to give up. The matter is resolved completely when faith is adhered to and the trial has ended. Once the pressure ofyour trial is released your vision will clear. God like any great teacher will do more that say good job; he will go further by giving you a reward.

The same God that saves is able to heal, deliver, bless, restore, and bring you to a place of rest from your troubles. Don't faint during your season of testing. God will restore you. He will make it worth your time and tears. Our heavenly Father doesn't waste anything.

Psalm 34:19 (NLT)

19. The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to the rescue each time.

Believe that God will make this test worth your while. If this is the greatest test you've encountered, then expect the greatest blessing to follow. God will restore joy and laughter to his beloved. Every trouble you face has an expiration date. God knows your name, address and all there is to know concerning you. You won't miss out on your blessing when the testing is done. You can rest assured your blessings of restoration and peace will find you at just the right time. Be of good cheer. It takes courage to hold on when you feel like letting go. You are not alone. God is in the fire with you. In fact, He never leaves you.

Reach out to God and receive his comforting embrace. Hold on to him as he holds on to you.You are valuable and loved by God unconditionally. If you have been tempted and you let go because you felt God wasn't hearing or helping you. If the test you endured caused you to lose faith. Don't be discouraged. Repent for letting go and ask Jesus to fill your heart and thoughts again. I invite you right now to make a decision to believe again. Start over and be renewed! God will wipe the slate clean as though he hit the reset button for your life, giving you fresh new hope in Jesus name.
